Even though the potential money made from most network marketing companies can
be quite large, you should never exaggerate this potential. If you do not have
people on your team making the type of money you are claiming, then you should
not tell your potential recruits about crazy peso amounts. This will only lead
to frustration for both your new recruits and you.
3. Provide no training
When you sign up a recruit, you should always provide training on how the
business works and how they can work the business. This way they have a solid
foundation to build upon. There are many instances where I was on a team and my
up-line manager signed me up and never spoke to me again. I was completely left
in the dark. I was not provided any training or help on how to make money.
People that do not offer their recruits with the proper training and consistent
assistance are only hurting themselves by not maximizing the potential profits
made off of their recruits. These people are only thinking short-term. When you
recruit team members, you should always think long-term.
4. Make money the only motivation
Oftentimes, people join network marketing companies to make extra income;
however, you should consider seeking people who love simply love the products.
These people can speak from experience about the products and their passion can
actually make more sales than the people who join only for the money. You will
learn that each one of your recruits will have their own motivations. You job is
to help them tap into their talents and motivations so both you and them can
make more money.
As you grow your business and become more comfortable, you will develop your own
personal style for recruiting your sales team members. Always keep in mind that
your down-line is depending on you.
